The new kid on the block, Puerto Madero was once a thriving port, long since abandoned – Gone are the rusting ships and vacant brick warehouses. Transformed over the past twenty years, it is now a sleek riverfront neighborhood, with the old dockside warehouses converted into high end restaurants, bars and clubs. The surrounding areas, home to glass fronted sleek tower blocks, for both private apartments and office space.

There is more to Puerto Madero though than fine dining, swish fashionable hotels, party atmosphere and cosmopolitan living. The area is also home to a world class riverfront ecological reserve, it’s natural beauty, complementing the modern architecture that surrounds.

Puerto Madero affords a different experience to the city’s other neighborhoods, in its own way unique, think London’s Docklands or Darling Harbour Sydney, but with Buenos Aires proper only a stone’s throw away.
