Terms & Conditions


The Terms and Conditions detailed hereunder states our mutual commitments. StayUnico allows you to occupy the apartment specified in your Contract and confirmation mail during the rental period, including full use of the apartment’s contents.

Rental Includes

Guests pay the nightly rental as specified in your Contract. The mentioned rental for each property comprises the following costs:

  • Amenities for each Home including free high­speed internet and cable TV;
  • Welcome basket upon arrival and other delightful amenities;
  • Home User Guide where you can find plenty of information about your neighborhood, local shops, restaurants, tours and nearby conveniences;
  • Meet and greet by our local team. They will devote the necessary time to show you how everything works and will be glad to give you useful advice and share their knowledge about Buenos Aires with you;
  • Bedding, towels, initial complimentary supply of toiletries;
  • Taxes, commissions and utilities (as specified).

­ In case of malicious or deliberate damage to the Home and/or its furnishings, additional charges will be applied.

How to Book your Stay

Select a Home, complete the Booking Form and submit it via our website. Once we receive the Booking Form we will process it and confirm it back to you confirming the selected Home’s availability or similar options if not available.

It is understood that the person who submits the payment will be the main guest.

Payment Options

Credit/Debit Card, PayPal and Bank Transfer payment is accepted. StayUnico processes all transactions in US dollars. In case your Credit/Debit Card is issued in a different currency, any conversion costs and exchange rates fluctuations will be borne by you.

An additional fee may be incurred in if you choose to pay via Credit/Debit Card or PayPal. If payment is made via Bank Transfer, you will be responsible for all transfer costs.

Price Changes

A revision of our prices may take place throughout the year. Nevertheless, upon confirmation of your booking and payment of your Initial Deposit, the price will be fixed and will remain unchanged.

Rental Payments

In order to confirm booking, a minimum 50% payment is required. Remaining balance will fall due 28 days prior to arrival. Should you fail to pay the balance within this period, in compliance with booking conditions, StayUnico reserves the right to cancel the booking. However, we will do our best to contact you in order to remedy this situation.

Therefore, we recommend you to take travel insurance out to cover possible cancellation that may arise and which may be beyond your reasonable control.

Reservations made by telephone, on the website or by e­mail imply that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the general information pages contained on our website.

Security Deposit

It must be paid by Credit/Debit Card, either with a block/charge. This transaction will not be subject to surcharge whatsoever and this will be taken upon check­in.

This Security Deposit will be refundable in accordance with the conditions laid down in the Guest Rental Contract agreed between the parties. No interest will be accrued or any adjustments made after satisfactory return of the property and accessories, in the same material condition in which they were delivered upon check­in.

The Security Deposit will be returned within 5 days after your departure. A StayUnico representative will check the property along with the guest who will be encouraged to be honest about misuse or breakages caused to the property.


Refunds are processed in US dollars. Therefore, if your bank account is not a US dollar account, your bank will convert the amount into your own legal currency at the exchange rate in force at the time of transaction.

StayUnico will not be responsible for exchange losses arising from actions taken by third parties.


Extensions are subject to availability. Please bear in mind that the Home may not be available at the same rate. However, we are ready to discuss different alternatives with you.


In case a reservation is cancelled, under no circumstances shall the initial payment be refunded. Should you need to cancel your reservation within 28 days prior to your arrival date, the full rent amount will be charged.

Booking Changes

If you need to make changes to your booking, please get in touch with us in order to discuss the matter. All changes to this regard are subject to confirmation from StayUnico and may result in additional fees.

In case date changes are requested, StayUnico will confirm availability. Payments in connection with any change in your booking must be made within 24 hours of the confirmation of availability with a view to have your booking amended.

Buenos Aires Guide

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your booking and payment. At short we will send you a link to our helpful and valuable "BA Essentials" Guide to help you plan your stay. You will also receive our popular and selective list of the best shows, activities and tours, regularly updated and reviewed by our local Concierge Team.

Check­in and Check­out

Check­in shall take effect on the Check­in date as of 2pm. The Check­out shall take effect on the Check­out date before 11am. Should the guest is not able to comply with the above mentioned schedule, an additional fee may be charged. Check­ins and Check­outs outside of this schedule are subject to availability.

Check­in and Check­out outside normal working hours (8:30am thru 7pm) will be charged with and additional agent fee.

Please, keep in mind that you must supply us with your arrival details so that we can arrange your meet and greet to this effect.

Upon Check­out time, our meet and greet staff will be present in order to complete the Check­out process with you.

Cleaning Service/Maid service

Your Booking Fee covers a weekly cleaning service and Check­out cleaning. This service includes change of towels and linen and general cleaning of the Home. Household chores, such as ironing, are not included. The cleaning staff shall have access to the Property during the rental period on such day and time to be agreed upon by the parties in advance.

In case you require additional cleaning service, this is available at an extra cost to be borne by the Guest.

Cancelled or Amended Bookings

We are pleased to say that throughout the history of our company, we have rarely been faced to situations related to cancellation of any reservation. Where strictly necessary, this was aimed at protecting our guests by virtue of damage due to flooding, major construction activities on building or environs, etc. We reserve the right to cancel or change arrangements made for you both before and during the vacation period provided such cancellation or change is necessary (a) as a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control or (b) to perform or complete major repair or refurbishment works. Should the above mentioned situations occur, our policy is as follows:

  • ­ An alternate property to the same high standard will be offered to you. In case you accept to stay in the alternative apartment, we shall consider it as full acceptance of our offer. ­
  • Otherwise, you will be refunded proportionally to the unused nights of your stay. ­
  • In case our Home is not available, your payments will be refunded straight off and we will do our best to help you find alternative accommodation. As mentioned before, this situation has never occurred in the history of our company.

Our commitment is to inform our guests about general maintenance tasks, though unfortunately, we are not always notified in advance. Thus, we assume no responsibility for works that are beyond our control. Clearly, our commitment is to do our best to provide well­maintained, well­run and perfectly clean apartments, meeting the descriptions advertised.

Guests’ Responsibilities

Our Homes are carefully shaped up with quality furnishings. We appreciate your taking care of the apartment as if it were your own home.

Upon arrival, your Home will be clean and tidy and you are expected to leave it in the same condition when you leave. This courtesy will be highly appreciated beforehand.

Should you observe any issue referred to cleanness or damage upon arrival, please, let the greeter know this situation immediately so that we can deal with it straight off.

You acknowledge that the Home will not be used for any risky, noisy, abusive, immoral or illegal activities or actions that might cause inconvenience or displeasure to your neighbors.

In case of malicious damage whether caused by you or a member of your party, you will be responsible for all payments thereof. Therefore, you shall make your party fully aware of these Terms and Conditions. Upon arrival, instructions specific to the Apartment will be discussed with you.

Children's Supervision and Parental Responsibility

Please, bear in mind that you should undertake adequate control and supervision of children in order to avoid any damage to the building and that the peace and quiet is preserved at all times.


You will be provided an emergency number upon check­in. It will be available 24/7 and should only be used if you are going through a risky or critical situation.

Maintenance Issues

Kindly advise us of any problem as soon as you identify it and we will make every effort to solve it at the earliest. We are unable to solve a problem if we are unaware of its existence.

StayUnico will not relocate Guests, compensate rental payments or cancel a Reservation due to requests or complaints resulting from causes that are beyond StaUnico’s or the Owner’s control or in the event of force majeure, including without limitation, street noise, construction noise, temporary malfunctioning of elevators, repair to neighboring properties, interruptions of the internet or other services or any other similar event affecting the guest ́s stay in the Apartment.

Though StayUnico cannot be held responsible for power cuts, breakdowns, internet and cable interruptions or any other mechanical equipment in common area of the building or failure of public utilities, we will make every effort possible to solve the problem.

Please, bear in mind that response times for repairs make take some time depending on the availability of technicians and it may be difficult to arrange such repairs at night, weekends or holidays.

Right of Entry

StayUnico reserves the right to enter the Apartment at all reasonable times for justified cause, including the performance of contingent repair services (both internal and external). Our authorized contractor may have access to the property for repairs/cleaning as required. In such a case, we will notify you in due time.


Our property description clearly states the maximum number of people that is allowed to sleep in the Property, which under no circumstances can be exceeded. We are contractually obliged to comply with the occupation limits as established by property owners and/or pursuant to the legal limits enforced by the relevant authorities. You may be requested to evacuate the Apartment straight off in case of over occupancy. Consequently, you will not be entitled to any refund whatsoever.

Understanding that you may wish to entertain guests during your stay in your vacation rental, please ask us for details about the maximum number of visitors if you want to do so. In case your party exceeds the limit foreseen, we would be pleased to suggest you alternative locations to such end.

Smoke-­free and Pet-­free

Our Homes are smoke and pet free, though smoking is generally permitted on balconies and terrace areas. We would appreciate that you and your visitors agree and adhere to this policy.

Personal Liability Security and Valuables

Lost items found in the Apartment after your departure will be returned to our office and kept for a period of 6 months. There are strict safety measures in place in order to ensure that the rental property is secure. The greeter will explain you how to lock your front door, windows, etc. upon your arrival. It is your responsibility to make sure proper precaution is taken. Should you fail to follow these requirements, the costs associated thereof will be your responsibility.

We kindly recommend you to take out a personal or travel insurance that will cover you in the unfortunate event that you become sick or injured in the property during your stay.

In the improbable event of theft or damage to person or personal belongings, terrorist attack, fire, civil unrest or other force majeure event, neither StayUnico nor the Apartment Owner are responsible for direct or indirect harm suffered.


In the event of dispute, controversy or claim, these ​Terms and Conditions will be construed as a whole and interpreted in accordance with its true and fair meaning. This contract shall be governed in accordance with the Laws of Argentina. The parties further agree that any controversy arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ordinary Courts of the City of Buenos Aires.

Limitation of Liability

You agree that StayUnico/Owner’s liability for claims of any kind arising out of or in connection with your Rental Agreement, shall be limited to the total fees paid by the Guest pursuant to the Contract. In no event shall StayUnico be liable for any special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, consequential or unpredictable/unintentional damages resulting from the cancellation of a reservation. Nothing in this clause shall exclude or restrict any liability which cannot be excluded in compliance with the applicable laws of Argentina.

Protection of your Personal Information

Our commitment regarding the protection of your personal information is essential. ­ We do not rent, sell or disclose any part of the information collected from you to third parties.

­ Credit card information is kept confidential and safeguarded by our secure server.


Please, refer to StayUnico's Privacy Policy regarding use of your personal information. StayUnico reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
